Cemetery Committee

The Welaka Cemetery Committee was formed in 1997 with the purpose of locating and identifying the older burial plots in the Oakwood Cemetery. In addition to establishing a historically accurate plot, an additional purpose is to establish proper recordkeeping for future use. The final goal is to preserve these records and provide online access to the public for future generations.
